iBeBot was in the recent Hong Kong Electronics Fair’s Startup Zone with its range of environmental sensing devices.
The AirComfort Bluetooth digital temperature and humidity sensor measures and stores data about both. Because the sensor is customizable, the user can preset data for different rooms via an app, and will be notified when readings exceed certain levels; the app keeps graphs showing stored readings. The app will connect and accommodate data for up to 16 units in different locations, says the company. Each AirComfort device will operate for a year via a button-cell battery, and each has a free-field detection range of around 30 feet. The company says that the temperature sensor range is -25°C to 45°C, accuracy at 25°C: ±0.5°C and the humidity sensor range is 0% to 100%, accuracy at 70%: ±4.5%. Data collected is stored for up to 100 days.
