ICSC Predicts Retailers Will See First Non-Recession Holiday in 3 Years
Retuers reporting that the International Council of Shopping Centers forecasts a rise in retail sales of 1 to 2 percent this holiday season. Retailers are expected to have their first non-recession holiday in three years, according to the report. Both same-store sales and total sales could see the 1 to 2 percent rise. Last year same-store sales fell by 5.8 percent in November and December.
