IFA’s CE China Event Gets Underway in Shenzhen
CE China 2018, a global IFA brand, officially opened its doors to the public on Thursday at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. This is the third year that IFA has held its CE China event, giving technology brands in the area an opportunity to showcase their latest products and innovations.
Brand new at CE China this year is the IFA Retail University portion of the show. Jointly hosted by IFA and Chinese retail giant Suning, the IFA Retail University is intended to attract specialized retailers and experts to the show, where they can gain “deep insights” from global, brands into their latest developments, strategies, and other market statistics. Eleven companies in total presented on stage during the opening day of IFA Retail University, including GfK, IHS Markit, Bosch Home Appliances, Huawei, Haier, Severin, Blaupunkt, Yamazoki, Elgato, Caso Design and Fakir Household Appliances.
“At this third edition of CE China we are happy to present a new and very efficient format adding to the quality of this retail show: the IFA Retail University,” IFA Executive Director and CE China Chairman Jens Heithecker said during his opening keynote for CE China 2018.
