In First Full Year, HTA Reports Strong Growth and Engagement
Since its founding in 2017, the Home Technology Association has remained committed to generating consumer awareness for its network of qualified custom integration professionals and helping to raise the standards within the home installation profession. The association’s main asset in doing so is their HTA Certified designation, which, as we’ve detailed in the past, is a difficult and challenging designation to obtain and maintain. That said, HTA has seen its community grow to 135 certified residential integration firms in 64 different markets across the U.S.
The association is coming off of its first full year in operation.
“The Home Technology Association’s inaugural year was a great success and 2019 is off to an equally exciting start,” Director of Certification Josh Christian said in a statement. “HTA Certified technology integration firms are telling us they have experienced unprecedented success in the marketplace, with many reporting their best year ever. As more dealers add HTA certification into their sales pitch, awareness of this meaningful standard and the value of certification will continue to grow. Professional certifications and standards create clarity, instill confidence, and help ensure consumers experience and enjoy everything technology can do in the home.”
