Laptop Spending Seen Rising
In a survey released this week by Changewave Research, eight percent of respondents expect to purchase a laptop computer in the next 90 days, a gain of two points from the February edition of the survey, which also found interest in netbooks rising.
The survey brings the number to level it was from January through November of last year, until it dipped to 6 percent in January and February. Changewave also found that 23 percent of those who answered yes say they'll buy a netbook. This represents a 5-point gain over February.
In terms of Apple, customer interest remained similar to recent months- 29 percent of those asked say they plan to buy a Mac, compared with 30 percent in February and 28 percent in January.
