Infinity Systems will be featuring an expanded wireless subwoofer lineup at CEDIA 2008. The company now offers three models—the PS210W, PS212W and PSW310W—to accommodate a wide range of custom-installation and home entertainment applications. All three models are designed to make subwoofer installation easy. Their wireless design eliminates the need to route wires to the subwoofer through walls or under floors. The PS210W, PS212W and PSW310W all include a compact transmitter unit, which utilizes the 2.4GHz frequency range with a choice of selectable channels to ensure interference-free transmission from the source to the subwoofer. The transmitter module connects to an audio/video receiver or other audio source, and transmits to a wireless-transceiver unit built into the subwoofers. All three subwoofers offer a full complement of controls and connection options to deliver articulate, extended low-frequency response in any system and room. All models can also be used as conventional wired subwoofers, if desired.
