Ingram Micro’s Murai to Resign as President
The computer products distributor Ingram Micro announced late last week that its president and chief operating officer, Kevin Murai, will resign his position at the end of the year, and be replaced by the company’s Asia-Pacific division, Alain Monie. The announcement was made, Reuters reported, as Ingram Micro announced its earnings for the quarter.
Ingram Micro announced in June that it had acquired DBL Distributing for $96 million, and that DBL would become an independent subsidiary of Ingram.
In the quarter recently completed, Ingram Micro made net income of $52.4 million, down from $53.8 million the ame period a year earlier, on revenue of $7.4 billion.
