Toshiba Silicon Audio Player diGO' MM300
Toshiba introduced a portable silicon audio player, the "diGO," model MM300 (29,800 yen or $281), that uses a secured SmartMedia format and can play 5.5 hours of music in high-quality mode. The card-sized player measures 1.4" x 0.9" x 0.2" and weighs 1.8 pounds, including lithium polymer battery. diGO supports MP3 and TwinVQ (developed by NTT and Kobe Steel) audio compression formats. "InfoBind" encryption technology is used for copy-protection based on SDMI specifications version 1.0.
