Panasonic's Smallest, Lightest DV Camcorder

Panasonic introduced a vertical, compact-size DV camcorder NV-C3 (225,000 yen; about $1,860), which the company said is the world's smallest and lightest. The 14-ounce NV-C3 (16.45 ounces with battery) has a multimedia card slot in addition to a conventional DV cassette loading mechanism that allows it to store 200 "economy mode" still images or 50 "fine" resolution images onto an 8MB card.
