Inside the D & H Convergence Show

HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA, JULY 23 — Any successful trade show creates partnership between attendees and exhibitors. If you ask Daniel Schwab, vice president of marketing for D & H, the distribution company has been creating partnerships for 85 years. But for the last two, D & H launched a trade show, first as a consumer technology preview, and this year as a means to educate retailers and custom installers about the relationship between consumer electronics and computer products.
"D & H already had a consumer electronics and computer products business," explained Schwab, as he surveyed the show floor. "In the last year we've seen tremendous success in the polination of both areas. All of the technology is converging and we saw the opportunity to create a show to help explain how this works."
