Going Mobile: Mobile Electronics Retailers Look for Ways to Improve Business
GRAPEVINE, TEX.- How can mobile electronics retailers have an easier time of things in these difficult economic times? A wide variety of ideas were put forward during a roundtable discussion Sunday on the first night of MERA's KnowledgeFest in Dallas.
First off, mobile electronic dealers must embrace new online strategies, especially those pertaining to e-mail marketing and social networking. Retailers and manufacturer also have to establish stronger partnerships and work together to develop more effective strategies around special promotions.
At the roundtable, moderated by sales specialist Daniel Abramson of StaffDynamics, retailers and others present shared various complaints and pet peeves about different challenges in the industry. Many of the attendees also expressed frustration over the current state of the industry.
