Netstreams is Acquired by ClearOne
IP network pioneer Netstreams has been purchased by audio conferencing company ClearOne for $2 million in cash, plus in an additional $2 million in long-term debt, the companies announced Wednesday.
Netstreams will continue to operate from its current location with its current employees.
"Both companies have earned stellar reputations for providing the most compelling and complete product solutions in the broad market we both serve," Netstreams president and CEO Kevin Reinis said as part of the announcement. "As the global market increasingly embraces the benefits of distributing audio, video and data content efficiently through Internet Protocol technology, the combined company will be an even more powerful industry force."
