iPhone Customers Fleeing Android, BlackBerry in Droves
Nearly three quarters of iPhone buyers choose the 4S model, while just under 40 percent switched from RIM or Android with their newest device.
That's according to numbers released this week by the research firm Consumer Intelligence Research Partners, as cited by Apple Insider.
The survey found that the percent of iPhone owners who switched from Android or BlackBerry has risen from 29 percent in February to 38 percent at the time of the survey in April. Meanwhile, 50 percent of iPhone owners purchased the 16GB size, with 34 percent getting the 32GB and 16 percent opting for the 64GB version.
