iPhone Unveiling Officially Set For Oct. 4
Apple officially sent out invitations Tuesday for its unveiling of the newest iPhone. The event is set for Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. Pacific time.
The scheduling is in line with a report last week by All Things D that placed the unveiling on that date.
The event differs from Apple tradition in several ways: It will be held at Apple's Cupertino headquarters rather than in San Francisco, the invitation specifically states that the event will introduce an iPhone, and new CEO Tim Cook is expected to present the device.
