iPhone Will Have Three Price Plans
The monthly price for service on the iPhone was finally announced Tuesday, with Apple and AT&T introducing three price points for the device, which will have its long-awaited release on Friday.
All three plans consist of “visual voicemail,” plus unlimited Internet and phone usage. For individuals, the three price tiers are $59.99, $79.99, and $99.99 per month, for 450, 900, or 1,350 minutes per month. (The $59.99 plan allows for 5000 night and weekend minutes, while the other two plans are unlimited.) All three of the plans give users 200 text messages per month.
The family plan brings the three tiers to $80, $100, and $120 per month, for 700, 1,400, and 2,100 minutes per month, respectively. All three plans offer 200 text messages and unlimited night and weekend minutes.
