Three big things happened over the weekend for NBA superstar Stephen Curry: His Golden State Warriors defeated the Memphis Grizzles 101-86 in the first game of their NBA playoff series, multiple media reports stated that he will be named the NBA's Most Valuable Player and he reached a new endorsement deal with Harman and JBL.
Harman announced that Curry has been named its newest Brand Ambassador for the JBL audio brand, following a similar deal with another young point guard, Portland's Damian Lillard. Curry, JBL said in the announcement, "has entered a multi-year partnership to collaborate with JBL in marketing and advertising efforts for the development of fan-centric integrated content and programs for social media and television."
“Stephen is a one-of-a-kind player who cannot be defined by any one specific skillset and showcases tremendous talent in every aspect of the game. JBL brings the same spirit to audio, with innovation and leadership in user experience, design and technology,” Ralph Santana, Chief Marketing Officer of HARMAN, said in a statement.
