JennAir To Establish Presence in NYC’s A&D Building
Luxury appliance maker JennAir used the occasion of the NYC-held Architectural Digest Design Show March 21 to announce it would establish in April a showroom at the city’s Architects & Designers Building (A&D) – and to preview the JennAir Experience, as it is being called, at the show.
With the goal of expanding the brand’s luxury footprint, the JennAir Experience will feature the Rise and Noir lines, and will, according to a statement by Joe Liotine, president, North America Region, Whirlpool Corp., “spotlight JennAir offerings in utterly unexpected ways” while demonstrating to visitors that JennAir can “deliver the personalization they crave.”
The marquee A&D Building was selected as its location as the building already serves as a destination for designers.
The showroom experience, says the company, will be a fully immersive space encompassing more than 2,500 square feet spotlighting kitchen spaces “completely curated for today’s new modern luxe consumer.” The JennAir Experience will first immerse visitors in the progressive brand history before revealing the new era of JennAir, with digital connectivity at the core, says the statement.
The space will emphasize the more than 5,000 customizable product combinations possible, with each offering integrated with the brand’s signature digital platform. Further amplifying the experience, interactive touch screens and customization tools will be available on site to aid designers and architects as they consider and select luxury appliances, according to the announcement.
