From their new perch in Hall 1 of the Messe Berlin campus here at IFA, JLab Audio used the global consumer tech platform to launch an updated version of their Epic Air true wireless sport earbuds. Available for preorder now and launching in late September, the Epic Air Elite are the next generation of the headphones that take all of the feedback JLab received from consumers and implement it to create an improved version of the company’s top-selling sport earbuds.
Right out of the box, the Epic Air Elite True Wireless Sport Earbuds feature auto on and connect, which makes for quick and easy pairing to your listening device. Additionally, JLab improved the Bluetooth connection between the earbuds and your music to provide a more stable listening experience, and they upped the best-in-class battery to a total of 38 hours (6 hours per charge with an additional 32 hours in the case).
A new feature of the Epic Air Elite earbuds is a Be Aware Audio mode that can be turned on to allow natural ambient noise to pass through the headphones, keeping the user aware of their surroundings. As a feature we’ve seen in other wireless earbuds and full-scale headphones, the ambient noise mode is ideal for staying safe while out running or jogging, or when placing quick to-go orders and you don’t feel like taking your perfectly-adjusted earbuds off.
