Justin Time With Innovative Technology’s PowerCase
Dealerscope: How did you come up with the idea for the Justin?
Lieblein: I was walking through a trade show in China and saw a booth with battery packs. Next to it was a case manufacturer. I had an ‘aha’ moment. I borrowed a case and brought it to the battery booth. What I know to be true is that the most important commodity with mobile users is power. How many times a day do you look at your smartphone or tablet and start to stress because the battery level is quickly going down? I knew we had to take what we do really well today and integrate it into an iPad case with a built-in rechargeable battery so you can recharge your smartphone, your tablet, your MP3 player, anything with a portable battery, so you can recharge on the go. Justin was born.
It’s incredibly light and it has a kickstand on the back. If you’re running out of power, you just plug in the cord and turn the battery on and charge. It works for almost any mobile device. We are forecasting to do over $25 million in wholesale in the first year on Justin.
