JVC Honors Jazz Fest Sponsorship Commitment
JVC has said that it will continue its annual sponsorship of the JVC Jazz Festival, which kicks off a two-week centerpiece run June 17th in New York City.
The year 2007 is the 24th that JVC has underwritten this series of concerts. More than 300 artists will participate in the 200 concerts and free musical events that are scheduled to take place in New York and Philadelphia. JVC’s sponsorship will also bring live jazz to audiences in Miami, Chicago, Newport, San Francisco, L.A. Paris, Warsaw and Rotterdam from May through October.
“JVC’s longstanding commitment to jazz has its roots in our R&D heritage, which spans over 80 years,” said Karl Bearnarth, senior vice president of marketing, at the announcement. “Whether through live music or cutting-edge A/V products, our commitment is to deliver the best entertainment experience possible. We’re proud of our long history of supporting jazz.”
