JVC TVs Are Recalled
This week, JVC Americas Corporation and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of 26,500 rear-projection televisions. According to the CPSC, the 52- and 61-inch units were manufactured in Mexico between May 2004 and November 2004 and sold at consumer electronic stores nationwide from July 2004 through January 2005 at a retail cost estimated between $3,000 and $5,500.
The recalled televisions have the following model and serial numbers:
