JVC Debuts 3D Camcorder
JVC has announced the availability of the GS-TD1, the first video camera to record in 3D and HD. The camera, which includes a pair of 3.32 megapixel CMOS sensors, produces video that can be shown on a 3D TV and burned to a Blu-ray disc.
The camera is available now at an MSRP of $1,699.95.
“With more commercially-produced 3D content coming along this year, sales of 3D TVs are expected to be strong,” Dave Owen, vice president of consumer video for JVC U.S.A said as part of the announcement. “But what could be better than creating your own home videos in 3D? We think there will be plenty of 3D TV buyers eager to do just that.
