Klipsch Sells Aragon and Acurus Brands
Klipsch announced last week that it has sold two of its brands, Aragon and Acurus, to a pair of former Klipsch employees. The brands of amplifiers and processors, which were acquired by Klipsch eight years ago from Mondial Designs Ltd., were closed in 2005.
Rick Santiago and Ted Moore, electronics engineers formerly employed by Klipsch, are the new owners, through their company Indy Audio Labs.
“Rick and Ted are extremely passionate individuals and have a very forward-looking vision for these two highly regarded electronics brands. I can’t wait to see what’s next for Aragon and Acurus,” Klipsch President Mike Klipsch said as part of the announcement.
