Speaker and headphone manufacturer Klipsch announced that it has hired a new vice president for the company’s Digital Speaker division. Steve Jain has been brought on board to serve as vice president and general manager of digital, streaming, and portable audio solutions, Klipsch said. Jain previously served as vice president of sales at SMS Audio.
“We are aligning Klipsch Group’s strategic vision and resources with the realities and speed of change of the industry to become a thought and technology leader in the audio space,” Paul Jacobs, President and CEO of Klipsch Group, said in a statement. “Steve brings over 18 years of CE experience to our leadership team, as well as dedication and a fresh approach to secure Klipsch’s rightful place in the market for another 70 years.”
In his new role, Jain will lead the newly formed digital, streaming, and portable solutions division, which, Klipsch explained, includes powered and portable headphones, speakers, and technology that will help drive the company to becoming a “tech-driven, solutions-based audio company.”
