Klipsch Partners with SnapAV for National Distribution
The news keeps rolling in for SnapAV as their network of brands and partnerships continues to grow. On the heels of their acquisition of/merger with smart home brand Control4, SnapAV was in Indianapolis this week to take part in a major announcement involving Klipsch Audio. There, Klipsch and SnapAV unveiled a partnership that would make SnapAV the exclusive national distributor within the custom installation channel for Klipsch’s premium audio solutions.
In a sense, the announcement puts an end to what was considered something of a rivalry amongst the two. And, at the same time, it allows each side in this partnership to leverage the strengths of the other to—in their words—provide the best level of service for their dealers throughout the country. Whereas Klipsch and SnapAV’s in-house Episode line of speakers had competed with one another, the brands see this partnership as a way for the two to compliment one another. And, as SnapAV Vice President of Audio Michael Jordan put it, the partnership addresses a need to provide their dealers options.
“We know dealers today carry more than one speaker brand,” Jordan said in a statement announcing the partnership. “By partnering with one of the best speaker companies, we’re allowing dealers to shop for all their audio needs conveniently in one place. SnapAV will be where pros buy audio. … We’re thrilled that Klipsch and Episode speaker brands will coexist and succeed together. To be an industry leader, you have to provide access to the best brands, and Klipsch is one of them.”
