Mobile View: A Big Influence
Many people say the 12-volt industry has seen its prime and that the future for mobile electronics retailers holds nothing more than store closures and diminishing profits. If you had asked me the same question two years ago, I too would have been skeptical. But that was before my involvement with MERA.
During my eight years in the industry, I have seen peaks in annual sales, then the slow decay that a dismal economy brings to “luxury” items.
To make matters worse, manufacturers fighting for main positioning in retail stores have increased their demands on retailers to buy from all categories across their product line. This has stretched retailers thin and has led many of us, including myself, to question the future of our professions.
