Kodak Plans to Emerge From Bankruptcy
Kodak's parent company Tuesday released its Plan of Reorganization and Disclosure Statement with U.S. Bankruptcy Court, the next step towards emerging from bankruptcy in the third quarter of this year.
The company had announced the spinoff of its Personalized Imaging and Document Imaging late last month.
“The filing of the Plan of Reorganization and Disclosure Statement represents a major milestone in our reorganization: this initiates our emergence process,” Antonio M. Perez, Kodak’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said in a statement. “We now have a clear path forward for Kodak, and we are positioning the company for a profitable and sustainable future."
