KODAK's New Rugged Digital Camera is Now Available for Purchase
During the 2019 PhotoPlus show in NYC, JK Imaging Ltd, the wordwide licensee of KODAK PIXPRO Digital Cameras and Devices, announced the availability of he KODAK PIXPRO WPZ2 Digital Camera. The rugged, outdoor camera comes in KODAK’s iconic yellow color at an affordable price point of $150. The WPZ2 can be completely submerged in up to 50ft of water. KODAK says the camera is “shockproof, dustproof, and adventure ready.”
“It has always been our goal to answer the need for the highest quality cameras at an affordable price with the KODAK PIXPRO line,” said Paul Meyhoefer, vice president of JK Imaging Ltd., “The new WPZ2 rugged camera embodies this philosophy and gives yet another camera option to our loyal customers that allows them to capture their memories beyond land and now underwater."
The WPZ2 can shoot 1080p HD video, and comes equipped with a variety of scene modes to help users capture that perfect shot. Other features include a 4x optical zoom, WiFi connectivity, and a rechargeable LB-015 Li-ion Battery. The KODAK PIXPRO WPZ2 Digital Camera accepts standard micro SD/ micro SDHC memory cards that are at least Class 4, but no larger than 32GB. Users can rest easy knowing the camera has a JIS/IEC rating of IP6X, and is shockproof up to 6.5ft.
