Last Day For Windows XP Sales
This week marks the end of an era for Microsoft in more ways than one. Not only has founder Bill Gates departed the company, but the software giant will stop selling the Windows XP operating system on Monday, the AP said.
The company will continue providing technical support for the operating system, which has been replaced by Windows Vista, through next year, while XP will remain available on certain ultra-low-power PCs. Users can also purchase the Vista Business or Vista Ultimate versions and legally downgrade to XP.
