Latest InfoScout Data Shows Which Retailers are Winning the Holidays
One of our greatest finds heading into this holiday season has absolutely nothing to do with consumer tech products. Rather, the gift that keeps on giving is research firm InfoScout. The company continues to track consumer purchase insights via actual receipts for online and in-store purchases made throughout the holidays, and their findings continue to trickle in.
The latest numbers InfoScout released dove into a couple of aspects of holiday shopping. Among them: how much consumers have left to do and which retailers are winning the holidays.
Back around Black Friday, we shared some of InfoScout’s first insights around just how much shopping consumers had left to do. Then, 75 percent of shoppers said they planned to finish their holiday shopping sometime during the month of December with around half of those saying they’d aim to be done by the week of Christmas. In a more-recent survey, when asked how far along they are with their shopping, 40 percent said they were more than halfway complete and 36 percent were half done or less. Another 7 percent admitted they haven’t even started yet (yikes!).
