Lenovo Unveils New PC For Consumers
Lenovo this week announced a new move towards the consumer market, unveiling a new version of its Thinkpad that is meant to compete with similar offerings by Apple and HP, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The move represents a shift for the company in multiple ways, from the focus on the consumer market to the new color (red instead of black) to the focus on the U.S. market. The laptops are set to be unveiled next week at International CES.
Lenovo, a Chinese company, bought the Thinkpad brand from IBM in 2005.
