I just finished reading with great interest the September Dealerscope "Mindshare, From the Editor's Desk" regarding the Harman requirements for its on-line retailers.
We agree that manufacturers need to take a more proactive approach to the Internet and e-commerce in particular. Too many manufacturers have their heads in the sand and are hoping the whole thing will go away.
They are obviously mistaken, but many are not accustomed to having their perceptions challenged. As a result, their dealers are suffering through their inaction. MobileToys.com is leading the charge to move mobile electronics manufacturers off their collective butts toward developing and implementing an Internet policy that supports their brick-and-mortar dealers.
