LG Electronics came to CEDIA Expo 2019 armed with its full arsenal of large-screen 8K flat-panel TVs in both OLED and LCD iterations – and also shone a spotlight on an expanded selection of its integrator-oriented CineBeam projectors.
“We’ve made great strides in addressing the CEDIA channel with our picture quality, screen sizes and focus on premium products,” LG’s head of home entertainment product marketing, Tim Alessi, said, by way of presenting the LG SIGNATURE Series 88-inch 8K OLED TV, which he said marked the U.S. debut for the model. He added it would be available for a suggested retail price of $29,999 at select retailers who have the capability of demonstrating and explaining its attributes. The 75-inch LG 8K NanoCell 8K TV, he added, is also shipping now at a suggested retail price of $4,999. The SIGNATURE 88-inch model was shown on a stand that can house a 4.2-channel 80-watt audio system.
