LG Extends College Sports Deal
LG this week announced the extension of its partnership with the NCAA, American college athletics' national governing body and two of its television broadcast partners. The new agreement, with CBS Sports and Turner Sports, runs through 2015.
The deal will include marketing programs, promotional activities, retailer tie-ins, and print, broadcast and online advertising, LG said, especially around the times of the football and basketball championships each year.
"LG is proud to build on our role as an Official NCAA Corporate Partner," James Fishler, LG's senior vice president, marketing and go-to-market operations, said as part of the announcement.
