LG showed a full complement of its Signature Kitchen Suite at last week’s NECO Alliance meeting, emphasizing the degree of flexibility that these appliances incorporate at the premium level.
A case in point was the line’s column refrigerators, which feature an all-metal interior cabinet finish. LG spokesperson Rod Gower explained how, in the 48-inch configuration, for example, the 18-inch freezer column (9.6 cubic feet) and the 30-inch refrigerator column (18 cubic feet – which LG says is the largest-capacity column in the industry) could be used independently; their door panels are also reversible. Door bins are aluminum-framed and adjustable for any height, and the moveable snack bin can be configured to accommodate things like part platters and pizza boxes. Other appointments include hidden LED lighting in the freezer and refrigerator columns – which also are both Wi-Fi-enabled for LG SmartThinQ control; an internal filtered water dispenser is also featured in the refrigerator column, while lift-out ice and storage drawers are designed into the freezer column.
The LG Signature Kitchen Suite ranges also boast a number of unique appointments – including the distinction of being some the first ranges on the market with built-in sous vide cooking capability.
