LG said the Signature line will begin rolling out in select markets in North America, Europe and Asia soon after CES.
Beyond the Signature TV, LG Electronics is showing its newest flagship 4K HDR-enabled OLED TVs, led by 77/65-inch G6 and 65/55-inch E6 models, which feature HDR compatibility. There will be eight new OLED models in all. All feature the Ultra HD Premium seal of recognition from the UHD Alliance. Like the Signature model, the G6 and E6 feature LG's 2.57 millimeter-thick Picture-On-Glass design, as well as harman/kardon audio and front-firing sound bars. Rollout is expected in March.
As always with OLED, LG touted its black levels as unsurpassed. Yet it's still offering LED LCD TVs. In that area, LG introduced its new Super UHD TV line, which it says will feature its most advanced LCD/LED picture quality yet. The line features four series, including the UH9500 (ranging in size from 55 to 86 inches), the UH8500 (ranging from 55 to 75 inches), and the UH7700 (ranging 49 to 65 inches). They're expected to begin shipping in early spring.
