LG K Series Smartphone to Begin Rollout in Key Global Markets
Unveiled at CES 2016, LG Electronics said it will begin the rollout of its two new K Series models—the K10 (pictured below right) and K4 (above)—in key global markets this week, including CIS and Europe. The second stage of the rollout, which will include Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia, will take place in the weeks to follow, LG said.
The K Series is designed to have a mass appeal, LG explained. The phones were designed with a “premium look and feel” and they offer advanced camera features, all without the premium price. The K10 features a glossy pebble finish that is complimented by the new LG 2.5D Arc Glass, which has a “smooth and seamless look,” according to LG. The “intricately woven” back cover allows for optimal grip, preventing the phone from slipping out of the user’s hand.
Aimed at a younger generation, the K10 features a 5.3-inch HD In-cell Touch Display, a 13MP rear- and 8MP front-facing camera, and a 2,300mAh battery.
