LG apparently plans to hit every single aspect of the consumer electronics market out at CES 2016 in just a few short weeks in Las Vegas. The company recently announced that it will have with it an upgraded lineup of its CordZero collection of vacuum cleaners at the show, which will be headlined by the new HOM-BOT Turbo+ (pictured above)—what it’s calling the industry’s first vacuum cleaner to be outfitted with augmented reality technology.
Also included in the new lineup of cordless vacuums are the CordZero Canister, the 2-in-1 CordZero handstick, and the CordZero Bedding Cleaner. Here’s a closer look at each new model.
HOM-BOT Turbo+: The new augmented reality enabled vacuum cleaner utilizes new AR tech through a feature called Home-Joy, LG explained. The interface allows the user to issue instructions to the device by designating areas of the home that need extra cleaning. Those instructions are given by using a smartphone camera to take a picture of the room and then tapping on the part of a room that needs the extra attention.
