LG Touts Scarlet’s Brains and Beauty
Tom Galanis, vice president of operations at 6th Avenue Electronics, agreed, saying the advertising campaign and viral marketing will drive consumer awareness, while the unique design and technical features of the TVs will generate sales. Although the economy has taken a bite out 6th Avenue’s lower-end business, Galanis said the mid- to high-end that the Scarlet series targets are still strong.
“LG is looking to go upstream with this product, and they have the right image. I think the campaign will work well,” he said. “The sets have all the latest technology and are in the same league as the competitors’ higher-end product lines.”
