LG Launches "Glass-Thin" LED TV
LG this week unveiled a new LED LCD TV, available in 42- and 47-inch versions that are meant to look "as thin as the single sheet of glass it resembles."
The introduction came at CEDIA Expo in Atlanta.
"LG continues to break barriers in design and technology with its stylish high-definition televisions, like our SL80 and 90 series," Peter Reiner, the senior vice president, marketing for LG, said as part of the announcement. "These new ultra-slim series of LCD HDTVs position LG at the forefront of providing a new entertainment experience to consumers - one that focuses as much on design as it does on creating a more immersive home entertainment experience."
