As if to prove to the world that standard desktop computers—and heck even laptops at this point—have staying power in today’s mobile-driven world, LG Electronics plans to unveil a new line of monitors and the latest LG gram laptop while in Las Vegas for CES 2016 next month.
The headliner of the new product lineup has to be the new 21:9 UltraWide monitors that LG plans to add to its arsenal. The new 34-inch curved monitors features Thunderbolt 2 technology, 3440x1440 QHD, and picture-quality-enhancing IPS technology that make it an ideal screen for gamers and digital media professionals, LG said.
Also in the new lineup are two new Ultra HD 4K monitors that feature USB-C port technology. Both allow users to charge a laptop while also transferring data at USB 3.0 speeds with a single power cord, according to LG. Further, the 27-inch model offers color presets including Rec. 709 and SMPTE-C broadcasting standards.
