LG’s Calacci Retires; Hamdorf to Lead Home Entertainment Sales

Chris Hamdorf has been appointed to take the helm of LG Electronics USA’s Home Entertainment sales organization, succeeding longtime industry veteran and Senior Vice President, Home Entertainment Sales Rick Calacci, who is retiring.
The appointment is effective immediately, according to a communication distributed yesterday to dealers by LG Electronics USA Senior Vice President, Home Entertainment Heaven Lee.
“Rick has been a great contributor to LG’s success in the U.S. market over the past 12 years, and we wish him all the best in his retirement,” said Lee in the statement. Calacci was the recipient of a 2016 Dealerscope Hall of Fame award.
Hamdorf has been with LG for over 10 years, serving initially as Sales Director for Home Appliances, and then, as Sales Director for Home Entertainment and most recently, as Vice President for Home Entertainment National Accounts in Home Entertainment.
