Logitech Agrees to Buy WiLife
Logitech International said last week that it has agreed to acquire WiLife, Inc., a maker of security and home-monitoring software. The deal, according to the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal, was for $24 million.
Once the acquisition is consummated, WiLife products will become part of Logitech’s Internet Communications Business Unit. The products will be available through all standard Logitech distribution channels and will be marketed under the Logitech brand name.
The deal is expected to close by mid-November.
