Bob Perry, vice president, Americas, Logitech, has been an engaging figure in the consumer electronics field for several years. His career includes stints with Sharp, Mitsubishi, LG and now Logitech. He’s constantly on the go, but we managed to get a couple of minutes with him to talk about Logitech’s position in the accessories business and some insights on where the whole connectivity trend is taking us.
Dealerscope: How important is connectivity or networkability to Logitech’s product development?
BP: It’s the centerpiece. Logitech’s overall product strategy is based on allowing consumers and business users to connect and control all the different products in their home whether it’s a PC or their home theater equipment.
