We have begun printing out flyers and mailing them to the dealers a couple of weeks before their events. Some of the dealers have put the flyers to good use, but many have left them on a shelf. Unfortunately, we have been put in the position of having to say "no" to doing an event for some of the uninvolved dealers so that we can help others who are trying to help themselves.
There are a number of wonderful dealers who are always looking for ways to promote and grow their businesses. These are usually also the ones who are supportive of the brands they sell and buy their products in order to get the best deals.
Being in any business relationship is a two-way street and both sides need to be able to adjust to the give and take. We can all prosper from successful business relationships as long as we remember that the need for support goes both ways.
