Magnasonic Unveils Pocketable, Portable HD DLP Projector
Magnasonic, a Niagara Falls, Ontario-based manufacturer of consumer electronics, has announced a new product in the portable projector category. The LED Pocket Pico Video Projector is being called the world’s smallest portable DLP projector. The lightweight, pocketable design and rechargeable battery make the device a “more accessible and versatile solution than bulkier projectors” for the on-the-go consumer, Magnasonic said in a statement.
What’s unique about the device, aside from its ultra-portable design, is that it is capable of projecting an image up to 60 inches through 25 lumen LED light engines (powered by Texas Instruments) in full HD.
“In today’s digital age, consumers can access thousands of files via their smartphones, tablets, computers or gaming consoles,” Magnasonic said. “The LED Pocket Pico Video Projector makes it possible for consumers to display that content in larger viewing formats anywhere and anytime.”
