Mamibot offered an array of hardware solutions for home cleaning – including fielding its third-generation robotic window cleaner at IFA 2018. The Model W120-T’s features include a safety rope that tethers to the unit when it is working. If the rope is detached from the unit, an anti-falling sensor prevents the unit from turning on. After a first pass on the surface which simply dusts the glass with a microfiber cloth, the device takes water or glass cleaning fluid, and starts its main task. The device offers improved speed over the previous models, according to Harry Lee, who demo’ed it for Dealerscope.
The company offers various models of robotic vacuums, including the new EXVAC660 mapping robot with water tank; it is Alex and Google Home compatible, says Mamibot, and will work for three hours on a single charge.
