Accessories Shine in Stormy Economy
For major vendors and distributors, the accessories business has morphed into much more than “blades for the razor.” Accessories are an integral part of the full-solution sale and the profits that accompany it. Dealers who haven’t yet grasped that concept – particularly in the throes of the current recession – are missing out on important sales, profits and customer satisfaction opportunities.
Judging by the comments that follow, suppliers and distributors are listening to their customers and doing what they can to help make the peripheral sale a certainty, especially as the industry moves into the holiday selling season.
