Alves: Package programs for our dealers are a great way for them to support an entire family of products while increasing their profit margins and increasing sales in key categories that they may be missing.
Witt: Alpine has put together a complete merchandising solution program allowing the dealer to purchase, on a lease-to-own basis, system merchandising kiosks or simple graphics panels for their in-store fixtures that deliver the complete solution experience. This was engineered using human factory studies and combining the results with sound engineering principles and simplified graphical presentation. We didn’t look to the typical display companies but sent our marketing managers out to find merchandising companies who do other types of stores like the Apple Store and Macy’s. This is a long-term commitment, not a campaign; it’s a change to how we go to market.
