Marantz Refines its Award-Winning Budget Stereo Products
Advanced audio tech brand Marantz unveiled new updates that it recently made to its budget stereo collection. The company launched the new PM6006 Integrated Amplifier and the CD6006 CE Player. Both are expected to be made available in June.
The PM6006 (pictured below), which will retail for $699, comes with digital inputs and will replace the “multi-award-winning” PM6005. The new Marantz model will still come with pre-amp and power-amp sections that exclusively feature discrete components, the company explained. The PM6006 has been upgraded for peak current at the amplifier stage, Marantz said, which makes it possible to refine sound in much more detail, resulting in more clarity and transparency.
“The Current Feedback amplifier technology provides wide-bandwidth and high-speed sound reproduction,” Marantz said in a statement. “In combination with the Toroidal Transformer, the PM6006 holds a massive energy reserve to drive even demanding speakers with absolute ease. And finally, the unique HDAM modules delivers powerful, dynamic, and detailed original Marantz sound.”
